A. Cells for Serology HLA-Class I and Class II typing and T and B cell Crossmatching

This QAP consists of

A1            16 cells for HLA-Class I serology typing
(2 cells 8 times per year (March-October))

A2            16 cells for HLA-Class 2 serology typing
 (2 cells 8 times per year (March-October))

• 16 T and B -cell crossmatch exercises (2 serum sent 4 times per year to be crossmatched with 2 cells from the above cell exchange each time)

B. Sera for antibody detection

This QAP will consist of 12 serum for antibody analysis. 4 sera will be sent in the months March, May and August.

C. DNA for HLA-Class I typing

This QAP consists of a total of 18 DNA samples annually (3 samples 6 times per year). DNA is supplied according to a roster of defined ASEATTA member laboratories.

D. DNA for HLA-Class II typing

This QAP consists of a total of 18 DNA samples annually (3 samples 6 times per year). DNA is supplied according to a roster of defined ASEATTA member laboratories. This QAP is also suitable for laboratories performing individual loci or allele typing for disease association genes.

E. HLA-B*57 DNA QAP (joint program with the RCPA)
