TLC Diagnostics and GTI Diagnostics have generously provided 2 Travel Awards to assist young investigators to attend the ASEATTA Scientific Meeting in Perth, Thursday 15th - Sunday 18th November, 2007.

ASEATTA will therefore use these awards to provide free registration (regular cost $660) for the Scientific Meeting for 2 young investigators. Individuals wishing to apply for a BC Serological Travel Award must:

1) be a current financial member of ASEATTA
2) be less than 30 years of age
3) have an abstract accepted by the Scientific Committee of the 2007 Meeting.

In addition, BC Serologicals have generously provided $500 AUD for the

" Outstanding Oral Presentation by a Young /Junior Investigator "
(Dr D.B Amos Award) at the 2007 Meeting.

Individuals fulfilling the above criteria should indicate their desire to apply for a Travel Award and eligibility for the Dr D.B Amos Award by emailing a copy of their submitted abstract to Campbell Witt (campbell.witt@health.wa.gov.au). NOTE: the abstract must also be formally submitted to the conference web site (http://www.ascia2007.com/ASEATTA.htm). Don't forget, abstract submission closes on 30th September!! Winners of the Travel Awards will be advised on 05 October 2007.
